Abstract: Data duplication and mapping is hard in any scenario. What data do you need, what is available and how does it map into the new system?

Compromised data leads to non-adoption, out of system data enrichment and blind decision making in many organizations.

Core to deploying and integrating any cloud based application with on-premise solutions is the successful interplay between master data in those systems.

Master data such as client identifiers, vendor records, company and location information in cloud based applications suffer from the same challenges as on premise data sets in that data is duplicated but maintained separately. This contributes directly to quality issues associated with the aging rate of data and its fracturing across multiple systems. This acts as barrier to change and solution adoption.

In this discussion we will walk through practical roadmap development practices showing how to manage master data discussions in cloud based scenarios.

This will be done through an approach framework designed to give the participant practical tools and skills to navigate this discussion.
