Measuring the Fully Loaded Costs of Cloud Computing

Abstract: MLAKedusoln eLearnovate’s 2003 entry in the elearning industry began with a primary focus on showcasing ‘curriculum elearning design’ projects using Shared and Dedicated Server as her server solutions. In predicting the intensive simultaneous usage of her SaaS products with the addition of Content Delivery (LMS) and Subscription Services to her company’s offerings which required user-generated input and interaction, she decides to migrate her business model solutions to a more scalable and agile method using the cloud in both standalone and hosted formats. Literature Review suggests that for web-hosted solutions e.g., Saas Based WCMS, LMS and Software Applications to scale, Cloud servers is a much more reliable yet inexpensive solution to existing ones. This paper analyzes the efficacy of MLAKedusoln eLearnovate LLC to go the cloud way.

Eucalyptus: The Open Source Infrastructure for Cloud Computing

Abstract: We will present Eucalyptus -- Elastic Utility Computing Architecture for Linking Your Programs to Useful Systems -- an open source software infrastructure that implements IaaS-style cloud computing. The goal of Eucalyptus is to allow sites with existing clusters and server infrastructure to host an elastic computing service that is interface-compatible with Amazon's AWS, but can also support multiple interfaces such as Google's AppEngine and the Sun Cloud open API.
