By this modern definition of cloud computing, System z has been an internalized cloud for decades and has found to have all the features to make it a natural Cloud Platform.

Presentation is a deep dive into System z's cloud relevant features: The granularity of Virtualization, share-everything Multi-tenancy architecture, Non-CPU-chargeable specialty engines, Capacity On Demand and Energy efficiency.

As a closing note, presentation will take the audience through three successful zCloud implementations.

Abdul Jaleel has 10 Years of IT experience in Application Development, Maintenance and Migration of software applications for medium and large enterprises. Abdul works at Mahindra Satyam as a Solution Architect in Platform and Testing group and he is responsible for providing high end technology consultancy in Reengineering, Application Modernization and Platform migration. Prior to Satyam Abdul worked with IBM, Citibank and Goldman Sachs in multiple technology positions.
